The last chance for LASPO
Last night, the House of Lords stood up for the victims of respiratory disease, and insisted on their amendment to exempt respiratory industrial disease from the restrictions on recoverability in part 2 of LASPO.
So today, the Bill returns to the Commons, for the MPs to think again. And no doubt the Government will again try to overturn this vital amendment.
We have to persuade MPs this time round to listen to the Lords and allow the amendment to stand.
There is still time, if you have not already done so, to write to your MP asking him or her to support victims of respiratory disease by backing the Lords amendment.
